Wine:

A captivating sparkling Chenin, the Montlouis-sur-Loire Brut Tradition is a masterclass in precision and balance. The nose offers aromas of vineyard peach layered with delicate floral notes and a hint of barley sugar. Year after year, it impresses with its lively energy, framed by the perfect ripeness of the harvest. This sparkling wine delivers a generous, rounded profile with both volume and charm, finishing with a pure, mouthwatering acidity. A beautifully crafted wine, it pairs wonderfully with quiche Lorraine, Brillat-Savarin, or aged Brie de Meaux. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, sorted three times, no yeast, fermented and aged in barrels averaging 5 years.

Color:

Bright, light gold, very delicate, regular bubbles.

Nose:

Fresh, with aromas of vine peach and delicate floral accents, a touch of candy and barley sugar.

Palate:

With its ripe expression, this cuvée showcases a supple, textured Chenin Blanc elevated by fine, energetic bubbles. The brut dosage adds a gentle roundness, leading to a finish reminiscent of strawberry confectionery. Refined and full of charm, it’s a sparkling wine that delights with its balance and character.

Temperature:

Serve between 8 and 10°C.

Aperitif, quiche lorraine, alongside a Brillat-Savarin or an aged Brie de Meaux.
