Domaine des Chasseignes is a new Sancerre address, the brainchild of Aurore Dezat and David Girard. Only five years old, this young upstart offers a short, tightly focused range of wines, mainly for export, that you probably won't have the chance to taste.
The 9 hectares planted on three types of soil - white earth, pebbles and flint - produce mainly white wines, and a handful of reds, whose common DNA is finesse and purity.
