The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru Pouilly shows elegant oak influences, with fine toasted and grilled notes on the nose, all backed by a distinct chalky character. The wine is perfectly mature, offering a great sense of structure, freshness, and tension, all balanced by a subtle, well-judged ageing. This is a wine to enjoy from next year and will evolve beautifully over the next 8 to 10 years, if not longer. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinified with indigenous yeasts and matured in 300-litre oak barrels.

Very pure, this wine showcases the noble aromas of Chardonnay with elegant oak influences, featuring subtle toasted and grilled notes, alongside dominant chalky touches.

Palate:

Well-structured and perfectly mature, this cuvée offers a beautifully balanced profile with an innate freshness and a well-integrated ageing process, making it perfect for cellaring.

Serve between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.
