Wine:

In a beautiful Bordeaux spirit, with a majority of Mourvedre, the 2018 red Bandol La Brûlade offers itself in a generous, sunny style. Notes of chocolate, pepper and spices melt into a concentrated, very ripe and generous body. A true Mediterranean, to be appreciated for its substance and concentration with stewed meat.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested in small crates, double sorted, totally destemmed, berries pressed with skin maceration, regular punching of the cap, 15-day alcoholic fermentation and full malolactic fermentation in wood, aged 18 months in oak demi-muids of French origin, bottled on the estate.

Organic wine, certified by Ecocert.

From now until 2032

A flagship of the Provence region, with 1 star in the RVF Guide, the Domaine de la Bégude has its own style, like no other. Recently taken over by Christian Roulleau, owner of Château Dauzac in Margaux, this vineyard is constantly raising its standards to produce great terroir wines.

With the highest vines in the Bandol appellation, at an altitude of 410 meters, and organic farming, the estate profiles wines with a unique character that not even the big names in the sector come close to.
