Wine:

Already very approachable, the 2022 Red Côtes-du-Rhône Terre de Galets opens with smoky notes and subtly infused aromas of rose and peony, all wrapped in great freshness. The well-balanced palate, framed by fine tannins, releases a dense and smooth juice. This is a very charming, harmonious wine with understated aging and a long, spicy, peppery finish. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Traditional vinification. Aged in concrete vats for 10 months.

Color:

Intense red with purple highlights.

Nose:

Delicate aromatic bouquet with smoky notes reminiscent of Syrah, rose and peony brought out by delicately infused Grenache.

Palate:

Beautifully balanced, with a blend of delicate tannins, dense, suave juice and a spicy/peppery finish that underlines the restrained ageing.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
