The 2021 red Côte Rôtie La Landonne comes from the superb northern terroir of the appellation, where the estate holds a rare 2 hectares. This wine is like a long-distance runner; it needs time to fully express itself, as it only reveals its true potential over the years. At this stage, its youthful aromas of black fruits, smoke, and violet are woven into a deep, firm, and powerful structure, perfectly crafted with elegant tannins. Patience is key with this wine!

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, aged for 22 months in barrels and demi-muids (10% new barrels to ensure renewal).

Color:

Intense, brilliant red with violet-purple highlights.

Nose:

aromas of violets and black fruits underlined by smoky notes.

Palate:

Firm and deep with fragrant fruit, this cuvée offers chiseled, powerful juice with fine, elegant tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

From now until 2033, and even longer for enthusiasts.
