Wine:

A model of smoothness and structure, the 2020 red Saint-Joseph Le Passage perfectly balances the granite terroir and Syrah grape. This wine offers impressive depth, combining power and elegance with a refreshing backbone. It's a refined Saint-Joseph that has broad appeal and is sure to please everyone! Act quickly, as these are the very last bottles available.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, de-stemmed, cold maceration in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, indigenous yeasts, aged 18 months in barrels of which 10% is new wood.

Bright red of good intensity.

Nose:

Powerful aromas of black fruits.

Palate:

Ample and fresh, this wine releases a powerful and elegant palate.

Temperature:

Decant before serving between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roasted ribs and bacon, pikeperch with red butter, lamb in a flaky crust, heart of beef tenderloin with a full-bodied juice and local ceps.
