Wine:

Made from high-altitude vines planted up to 600 meters, this 2020 Red Beaumes-de-Venise wine is fully representative of its Provençal terroir. It opens on beautiful aromas of black fruits, juniper, wild blackberry and pepper. It is a very mature wine, aged in vats and barrels, with a velvety texture and smooth tannins that presage good aging potential.There is also a lot of freshness on the finish, with some liquorice flavors. Serve it slightly chilled at 14° or 15°C. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Maturation of Burgundy type with 50% in barrels of 3 to 5 wines and 50% in stainless steel tanks.

Bright red with carmine reflections.

Nose:

Abundant aromas of black fruits mixed with notes of juniper berries, wild blackberries and peppercorns.

Palate:

Of beautiful maturity, this wine with smooth tannins and with a beautiful aging potential delivers a balanced palate with a lot of freshness in the finale.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Baked Limousin beef rib, beef bourguignon, navarin of lamb.
