The palate is pure and precise, with perfectly ripe fruit balanced by refreshing acidity and structured tannins. This wine is dense yet vibrant, with a crisp finish—though it would benefit from another six months of aging. A standout cuvée, rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

With 2 stars in the RVF Guide, Domaine des Ardoisières perfectly embodies the qualitative revival and ambition of Savoie.

Since 2008, Brice Omont has been the passionate artisan behind this remarkable estate, tirelessly working on the steep slopes of the Tarentaise. Biodynamic viticulture here is nothing short of heroic, with gradients reaching up to 70%, extremely low yields, and wines crafted primarily from co-planted and blended grape varieties.

The effort involved is immense and commands respect. In just under two decades, Brice Omont has elevated his estate to the pinnacle of Savoie winemaking, with a reputation that now extends far beyond the Alps.

These wines, incredibly original, are framed by expert aging and exhibit exemplary finesse and complexity. Highly sought after by connoisseurs, their value is skyrocketing—these are wines you must try at least once.
