Blended from parcels spread across the northern and southern parts of the appellation, the 2022 Red Deschants Saint-Joseph is a fine expression of its terroir. It reveals floral and fruity notes in a soft, approachable style. With a medium-bodied, fresh, and pleasant structure, it pairs beautifully with slow-cooked meats or a classic rabbit stew.Vinification:
Hand-harvested, vinified for 3 to 4 weeks in open concrete vats with one or two pump-overs per day.Aged for 12 to 18 months, mainly in vats and partly in oak barrels.
