Wine:

Ripe and concentrated, the 2022 red Sicilia Nero d'Avola is a smooth and indulgent wine, characterized by a fresh and immediate appeal. Its spicy aromas, delicately smoky, do not overshadow the plentiful, juicy, and fleshy fruit, framed by still young and firm tannins, destined to mellow. A delightful discovery of this grape variety, best enjoyed within the next two years with dishes like pissaladière, lasagna, or tapas. Rated 90/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at temperatures between 24 and 30°C.

Color:

Dark red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

Ripe and concentrated, with hints of balsamic in the aromas marked by smoky, spicy touches.

Palate:

Full-bodied, with abundant juicy fruit and young tannins, this wine will develop a patina over time.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
