Wine:

From old vines over 50 years old, organically grown and dominated by Grenache (70%), the 2022 Côtes du Rhône Arcane Valet d’Épée Red showcases pure fruit freshness. The nose opens with delicate notes of peony, while the palate offers a refined, infused profile that’s delightfully flavorful. This wine stays true to its southern origins yet maintains a clean, elegant style. Perfectly paired with a simple ratatouille with basil or a duck curry with pumpkin.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Long one-month maceration with little extraction. Vinification in stainless steel vats. Aged for 12 months in concrete vats.
