Our committee's review

Albert Bichot is one of the most prestigious Maisons in Burgundy, having won several awards and international critical acclaim. Carefully selected plots, fully ripe harvests and controlled ageing, respecting the identity of each terroir, are the pillars of this Burgundy institution recognized far beyond our borders

Sensitively orchestrated by Albéric Bichot, the architect of its rise, this House is now a Burgundy staple. Take this opportunity to buy this trio of bestsellers!

Buoyed by a remarkable vintage, the 2022 red Aloxe-Corton stands out for its brilliant hue, a sign of perfectly ripe Pinot Noir. Delicate and fresh, with good red fruit and fine tannins, it has a fresh, acidic texture throughout, adding to the pleasure of tasting. This is a fine Pinot Noir, lightly oaked, persistent and tasty, which can be aged over a decade and enjoyed at the table with a veal chop, for example.

Domaine du Pavillon's 2022 White Meursault greatly enhances the varietal and vintage character of this top-quality appellation. The nose, with its floral freshness and appropriate oakiness, brings out all the finesse of Chardonnay, with lovely pastry aromas. The palate expresses the terroir of Meursault with finesse, freshness and edge, haloed by notes of ageing with a hint of vanilla. A bottle to be drunk in 3 to 4 years to fully enjoy; before that, decant for an hou

With finesse and elegance, the 2022 red Chambolle-Musigny lives up to its name. The nose pinnates with finesse, revolving around small red fruits enhanced by a blond woodiness, but also plenty of freshness. The structure has all the grace and finesse of a Chambolle, with hints of licorice and butterscotch from the ageing process. A bottle that deserves patience, ideally 2-3 years.
