A jewel of Alsace with 3 stars in the Guide RVF, Domaine Barmès-Buecher is renowned for its consistency and exceptional quality. Under the meticulous care of Maxime Barmès and his sister Sophie, the estate produces wines of remarkable character from the terroirs of Wettolsheim, southwest of Colmar. The vineyard spans 17 hectares, including three prestigious Grands Crus—Hengst, Pfersigberg, and Steingrubler—as well as high-quality lieux-dits like Rosenberg.
Practicing biodynamic farming since 1998, the estate employs indigenous yeast fermentations on the lees, followed by extended aging, resulting in wines of outstanding caliber. Honest, expressive, and utterly delicious, they showcase the true potential of these celebrated terroirs.
