A well-kept secret in Burgundy, Domaine François Gaunoux graces some of the finest Michelin-starred tables, offering wines of remarkable precision. Vinified without oak by Claudine and Jean-Pierre Gaunoux, these wines resist passing trends, delivering an exceptional purity and authentic expression of their terroirs.

The estate’s 12 hectares, spanning the esteemed vineyards of Beaune, Meursault, Volnay, and Pommard—including exclusive plots in Meursault (Clos de Tavaux and Clos des Meix Chavaux) and the premier cru Goutte d’Or—form an enviable legacy. The couple crafts each wine with a minimalist, uncompromising style that allows the unique qualities of each site to shine.

Operating discreetly, Domaine François Gaunoux has nonetheless captured the attention of discerning palates. Olivier Poussier, Best Sommelier in the World, along with acclaimed chefs Yannick Alléno, Sébastien Labbe at Cheval Blanc, and Guy Savoy, count these wines among their personal favorites.
