Wine:

Sourced from a central parcel within the vineyard, the 2021 Red Clos de Vougeot Grand Cr is an exceptional wine that combines remarkable smoothness and concentration with vibrant freshness. The nose offers enticing vanilla notes, while the palate reveals a rich, velvety texture with hints of licorice and dark fruit. Though it calls for patience, its solid, elegant structure is already apparent. The long, lively finish leaves no doubt about its extraordinary potential.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Area of 2.21 ha, planted in 1927, 1968, 1973, 1977, 1990, 2011. 100% de-stemmed, vinification in open stainless steel vats. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

A dark red with beautiful intensity and brilliance.

Nose:

Black fruit aromas underlined by notes of vanilla and liquorice.

Palate:
