Wine:

Aged in jars, the 2022 white Vin de France Cuvée Tarra d’Alma is made from a single grape variety, vermentinu. It presents a fresh profile with a touch of minerality, a vibrant, taut, and precise palate, and a beautiful bitterness that stretches and extends the wine. This white is all about purity, minerality, finesse, and elegance, produced in very limited quantities.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Gentle whole grapes pressing in a low-pressure pneumatic press. Vinification in stainless steel tanks, 100% indigenous yeasts. Matured for 6 months in small, oval, terracotta 160-liter jars, entirely hand-crafted. Production of 1,500 bottles.

Color:

Bright pale yellow.

Nose:

A fresh profile with a touch of minerality and white fruit notes.

Palate:

Lively, taut and precise, with luminous fruit and that typical Vermentinu bitterness that stretches and prolongs the wine. A white wine of purity, minerality, finesse and elegance.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitifs with tapas, seafood, a variety of hot and cold fish dishes and fresh Corsican cheeses.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2028, and even longer for enthusiasts.

This is the new sensation from Corsica! Established in 2011 in Casaglione, in the Cinarca Valley above the Gulf of Ajaccio, Domaine de Tremica is a boutique estate aiming for excellence. At 300 meters altitude, with exclusively manual labor, gentle vinifications, and nuanced aging in jars, amphorae, concrete vats, and oak casks, everything here reflects meticulous care and mastery.

Trained at Clos Canarelli, Angelica and Richard Arnaud Le Foulon are realizing the project of a lifetime. The microclimate, caressed by sea breezes and the valley winds of Cruzzini, provides them with an exceptional setting to craft vibrant and authentic wines, capturing all the nuances of this unique Corsican terroir.
