Wine:
A model of elegance, the 2021 red Saint-Joseph Les Granilites displays lovely aromas of crushed black fruits, violets, Zan and licorice, which will blossom even more after decanting or aeration in a tall glass. The smooth, even pulpy structure reveals a very mature Syrah, with concentrated juice and well-coated tannins, framed by well-integrated, appropriate ageing. A bottle that calls for tasty, rare, juicy meat just like it! Rated 92/100 by the Committee.Vinification:
Hand-harvested, fermented in temperature-controlled concrete vats with indigenous yeasts, aged 75% in concrete vats and 25% in French oak barrels.Color:
