Wine:

The 2022 WO Swartland Palladius White is a remarkable white wine, built for aging and pairings, and an exceptional success in this vintage. Notes of green apple, citrus, mineral nuances, and stone fruits blend harmoniously within a framework of outstanding balance—both refined and full-bodied. Its marked acidity is complemented by firm tannins and a long, expressive finish.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification using indigenous yeasts. Whole grapes pressed and vinified in amphorae and ovoid concrete vats. Aged for 12 months on lees, then 12 months in tuns.

Bright pale yellow.

After aeration, notes of green apple and citrus fruit emerge, underlined by a hint of minerality.

Palate:

Delicate white fruit flavours with lively acidity and firm tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.
