Wine:

The 2021 red Saint-Joseph Rue des Poissonniers, Paris XVIIIe has all the makings of a fine, juicy Syrah that expresses itself in a spicy, fruity register. Its nose of violets, pepper and black fruit, and its sapid, well-balanced palate make for a delicious, highly accessible wine that would go perfectly with onglet de boeuf aux échalotes or osso bucco, rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Aged for 12 months in 225 and 500 liter barrels, of which 10% is new wood.

Ruby red of beautiful intensity.

Nose:

Very rich, marked by notes of violet and pepper.

Palate:

This simple wine is delicious and juicy, with a sapid and balanced palate.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.
