Jorge Navascués boasts incredible experience and skill, earning recognition far beyond his country's borders. As the oenologist behind leading estates such as Viña Zorzal and the prestigious Bodega Cantino, his reputation is well established. For the past decade, he has been revolutionizing Mas de Mancuso, located south of Zaragoza, by reviving Aragón's indigenous grape varieties and elevating the region to new heights. Today, he is one of the most respected winemakers in the region!

His vibrant, fruit-driven cuvées, sourced from high-altitude terroirs and ancient vines, have secured their place among the world’s finest. Regularly celebrated by the Parker Guide, they’ve become must-haves—especially at such an accessible price!

A Selection Committee favorite, scoring 92/100, the 2021 white Cutio Carinena Macabeo is an enchanting white wine—pure, fresh, and aromatic. As it breathes, it reveals lovely notes of herbal tea, delicate honey, and a subtle, pure mineral and smoky touch, characteristic of these schist terroirs. The palate is graceful, concentrated, and refreshingly persistent. This delightful white is perfect as an aperitif or served alongside paella, grilled langoustines, or seafood. It also received a 92/100 rating from Parker.

This is exactly the kind of Grenache we love—infused and delicate! The 2021 Red Cutio Garnacha-Cariñena comes from 60-year-old high-altitude vines with the coolest exposures. Paired with Carignan, this Grenache stands out as one of the finest in the region, offering notes of blackcurrant cream, sugared strawberries, and a light, delightfully tannic structure. It's an especially refined, approachable wine, ready to enjoy now. Serve it slightly chilled. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
